Often the name is the only thing in common. Sometimes the original has been lost, but not always. It would appear that Heaven Hill uses no wheat in their mash bill so they’re selling Henry McKenna in name only. Strange since one of their other labels IS wheated.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05704142764942118478noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6657913448535983609.post-56148562039735421552019-06-13T09:04:15.426-07:002019-06-13T09:04:15.426-07:00Mr. Hamm: Would be delighted to communicate. Have actually been at Heaven Hill and seen it come off the production line. Wonder if the receipe may be the same for several of their brands and they just change the labels. All of a sudden the bourbon was awful and I was at a loss to understand. Now I know it was sold to Heaven Hill and it ran out of the McKenna stock and started producing their own so called McKenna. I switched to Jack but how I wish I had some original, even if it was Seagrams, McKenna. Had a bunch of the ceramic jugs that came with stopper pourers, don't know what happened to them. What a great bourbon, would trade a bottle of Pappy any day for a bottle of McKenna.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12035379587054006528noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6657913448535983609.post-58651829762433144802015-12-11T13:42:12.700-08:002015-12-11T13:42:12.700-08:00This comment has been removed by a blog administrator.faryal naazhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14565218186912644846noreply@blogger.com
